MIA
Micro-FLIGHT is a small USA family owned and operated
company that designs, - develops and
manufactures unique and original ultra miniature, radio
control RC model kits
- with
emphasis on helicopters.
We also do original retrofits and upgrades to improve the
performance, durability and look of - other RC
model products we believe in.
We offer these products exclusively and directly to RC Model
Enthusiasts as well as - Hobby
Distributors that are looking for products with that extra
touch or realism, durability
- and style,
which are typically unavailable from larger mass
manufactured product companies.
MIA Micro-FLIGHT was established in the early 80's, as MIA
Designs. We started by offering- some basic
Rubber Powered Kits, plans, parts and have expanded to more
involved RC
- helicopter
kits and other hobby products in the past 6 years. During
this process, through our
- passion for
the hobby, and quest to make unique products, we have
acquired valuable
- experience
and knowledge in the manufacturing of products that attract
customers that prefer
- to build
from kits and wish to have more control over the RC
equipment they can choose from
- and use in
their models.
In this day, in age, it is very easy to become depended on
hobby products that give us instant -
gratification (mass produced ready to fly), overlooking,
perhaps, that some of the most sincere
-
pleasures of this hobby, are hidden within the subtlety of
the hands on experience, we can

have, by assembling a model from a kit. It has been my goal
that MIA kits are able to keep
